Pick your specialization, adjust your grades, and your final Tawjihi average appears instantly — using the same calculation formula used in Jordan's BTEC system.
The idea for this calculator and its formula came from Mr. Ahmad Al-Domi's calculator — thank you to him for sharing it with BTEC students.
Once you pick one, unit names and their official credit hours fill in automatically for each stage — fixed and non-editable for confirmed specializations, editable (with add/remove) for approximate ones.
Grade 11 units and their grades. This stage makes up 35% of the final average.
Grade 12 units and their grades. This stage makes up the second 35% of the final average.
Enter your actual grade in each subject as-is, and the tool weighs it automatically.
The calculation formula used in this tool is based on the same idea and formula shared by Mr. Ahmad Al-Domi in his original calculator — thank you to him for sharing it with BTEC students. The result here is an estimate for planning purposes only, and does not replace the official transcript issued by your school.
The final average is made up of 70% specialization projects (35% grade 11 + 35% Tawjihi/grade 12) + 30% the national culture-subjects exam. Grade 10 is a foundation year you must pass to move on, but it isn't counted directly in the final average.
Distinction = 100 · Merit = 80 · Pass = 60 · U (fail) = 0
Sum of (grade value × credit hours) ÷ sum of credit hours for every unit.
35% from grade 11's average + 35% from Tawjihi (grade 12)'s average = 70% of the final grade.
Arabic (10%) + English (10%) + Islamic Education (6%) + Jordanian History (4%).
